KNYSNA DAY TOUR

Guests will be collected at 8:30. We proceed to the Featherbed Nature Reserve’s ferry – Knysna’s Premier Eco-Experience.

This is a privately owned registered Nature Reserve on the Western Head of Knysna and a Natural Heritage site. The tour includes a return ferry trip on the lagoon, a 4x4 trailer ride and a guided walk along the scenic Bushbuck Trail to the Tavern where meals are served.

Your unique elephant encounter begins in the informative visitors centre at Knysna Elephant Park. Learn all about these intelligent creatures before continuing your journey and experience an intimate meeting with these gentle giants.

KNYSNA & SEDGEFIELD DAY TOUR

Depart at 8:30 visiting Scarab Paper Factory in Sedgefield. Scarab paper is the original, handmade paper, using Elephant & Rhino Dung to add interest and texture to recycled paper. Paintings by Sheila Cooper Collins are printed onto this unique paper to produce up-market, framable gift cards and limited edition prints.

Knysna Elephant Park, where the legacy of the Knysna Elephants lives on. "Touched by an elephant" takes on a new meaning with the most southerly elephants in the world.

Creating an unforgettable experience on the Knysna Lagoon with John Benn cruises. Lunch will be served on the boat.

After lunch we shall visit "Feathers of Knysna" world-renowned for its limited edition wooden bird carvings, and "Wildlife" collection.Scenic drive back home.
