Day 1

Depart for Cape Town at 09:00. Scenic whale-watching drive via Rooi Els, Pringle Bay & Betty,s Bay. At Betty’s Bay - visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens & Stony Point where one can get close-up views of the African Penguin Colony. Drive through Kleinmond and Hermanus. Hermanus is the heart of the popular Whale Route.

A short visit at Berkenhead at Stanford - beer tasting. Then to L’Agulhas – the most southerly point of the African Continent and the Lighthouse built in 1849. Overnight at the Breede River Lodge at Witsand – each year from May to November Southern Right Whales migrate to San Sebastian Bay (Witsand) the Whale “nursery’ of Southern Africa. (D, B&B;)

Day 2

After breakfast we shall depart for Mossel Bay to follow the footsteps of time, since Bartholomew Diaz stepped ashore in Mossel Bay more then 500 years ago. Visit the world - wide known Post Office Tree, Maritime museum, The Granary, Shell museum and the Diaz Museum.

We shall also visit the Knysna Elephant Park where an unforgettable African dream will come true “touched by an elephant” Before dinner, a lovely sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon will give you a good appetite. Guests will overnight at the Wayside Inn, a 3 Star Victorian themed Inn and centrally located in Knysna (B&B;)

A lovely boat trip around Seal Island on the Seven Seas pleasure boat.Then we shall travel to Knysna via George visiting Herolds Bay and Victoria Bay. At Sedgefield we shall visit the Scarab Paper Factory. Paper out of Elephant dung !!

Day 3

After breakfast we shall visit Monkeyland – the first multi-specie free roaming monkeys. Quick stop at Bloukrans Bungee and Xhosa Village.At Tsitsikamma National Park we shall do an easy walk over the famous Suspension Bridge at Storms River Mouth.

A short interesting boat trip up the spectacular Storms River Gorge follows. In the afternoon we shall depart for Oudtshoorn the capital of the ostriches!! Visiting the Wildlife Ranch in the afternoon, the destination for all the sheer thrills of your live. (Cage- Diving with the Crocs & Cub Encounters excl.)

Guests will overnight at De Poort Guesthouse in the Swartberge. Relaxation & comfort is embodied in this very personal guesthouse. Supper is served in the dinning room overlooking the valley. (D, B&B;)

Day 4

After breakfast we shall visit the Cango Caves. Stop at Wilgewandel Holiday farm, where you will be able to experience the culture and traditions of the early Pioneers who lived here during the 18th century and have some fun on the quad bikes and ride the Camels ! Visit the Oudtshoorn Ostrich Show Farm and ride on an ostrich !

Then we shall depart for Montagu on “Route 62” via Calitzdorp the “Port Capital” of South Africa, Ladysmith and Barrydale. We shall spend the night at the Avalon Springs Hotel, with its 43º mineral and radioactive spring in outdoor and indoor pools as well as the spa baths of varying temperatures. (D, B&B;)

Day 5

Depart for Cape Town arrive there at 13:00
